Leroy “Lee” Moore, of O Fallon, Missouri, passed away Wednesday, November 3, 2021 at the age of 75. Beloved husband of Vicki Moore; dear brother of Gerald (the late Lottie) Moore and Joan (Larry) Tayloe; devoted father of Kim Hafenscher, Michelle (Scott) Hoffman, Lori (Mark) Waller, Richard (Cheryl) Kneib and Lisa (Brent) Wootten; loving grandfather of Lauren Hafenscher, Taylor Hafenscher, Sydney Hafenscher, Hallie Hamilton, Brennan Hoffman, Austin Vesely, Anna Vesely, Zachary Wootten and Joshua Wootten; best friend Gary (Betty) Massey; Uncle to many nieces and nephews; and friends to many. 

Lee is preceded in death by his parents, Leroy Moore Jr. and Victoria E. Neeley and his siblings, Clella Mae “Sis” (the late Roy) Mikel and Delbert (the late Vicki) Moore. 

Leroy was a Navy veteran and was very patriotic. He served in the Vietnam War and was awarded several medals, including National Defense Service Medal, Vietnam Expeditionary Medal and the Republic of Vietnam Campaign Medal with Device. He enjoyed spending time with his family and loved going on cruises with his wife. His favorite things to do in his free time were cooking, playing cards, and attending car shows. Lee was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew him. 

Memorials may be made in Lee’s name to the Humane Society.
