Ron Koenig passed away on March 8, 2017, at the age of 70.

He is survived by his son, Clayton (Elisha) Koenig of Bowling Green; daughter, Andrea (Cory) Seeley of Boonville; two brothers, William "Bill" (Bernice) Hugeback of Troy, and Henry (Kay) Hugeback of Springfield; six grandchildren, Hailey, Gavin, Paisley, Maxwell, Zachary and Johnathan.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Margaret "Maggie" Koenig nee Boland; parents, Andrew Charles Koenig and Eunice Koenig nee Thompson and brother, Robert Hugeback.

Ron served in Vietnam in the United States Army. He was an avid hunter and loved farming. Ron greatly enjoyed being with his family and friends. He will be dearly missed by many.

Funeral service was held Monday, March 13 at Pitman Funeral Home in Wentzville, with interment in St. Charles Memorial Gardens.
