Hamilton, David L. age 63, died on January 31, 2010. Beloved husband for 33 years of Kathy (Kate) Hamilton (nee Saunders); dear son of the late Leon and Agnes Hamilton; dear son-in-law of Carole Saunders and the late Al Saunders; wonderful brother of Donna Beckerle and Debra Hamilton; dear brother-inlaw of Ron Beckerle and Kristina Saunders; and a great friend to many. Dave will always be remembered for his love of friends and family, his sense of humor and infectious smile.
Dave was such a kind person and so much fun to be around. I remember the night before our 25th Reunion, "the girls," aka Sandy, Janice, Sharon, Sue, me, etc. surprised Dave and Kathy at their home quite late (I think they were already in their jammies). Anyway, Dave was the usual fine host and started serving us drinks (as if we needed any more) and allowing us to party on. Kathy was such a good sport.
I also remember Dave and Elmer as being instrumental in making the merger between Pattonville and Maryland Heights so smooth and such a success.
