Howard "Frank"'s Obituary

Mr. Howard "Frank" McCreery,74, of Troy, passed away on August 12, 2020 at Mercy Hospital -Lincoln. He was born on September 15,1945 in St. Louis to Howard and Dorothy (McDaniel) McCreery.He attended and graduated from Pattonville High School in St. Ann,along with his siblings. Frank and Josephine (Bommarito) were united in marriage on August 1967 in St. Louis. To this union were born four children: Michelle, Connie, Bonnie and Dorothy. Frank was employed as a Millwright at U.S. Steel for 30 years and worked at Lear Manufacturing for 10 years and was thought of as a  dedicated,hard working  employee.  He enjoyed fishing and woodworking. Frank collected trains and loved going to auctions and finding bargains. His favorite times were spent with his family and especially playing video games with the grandkids. He coached many young women in softball at KC Hall starting in 1988 for many years. Coach Frank, as he was known, was especially happy to coach his daughters.Frank will be sadly missed and long remembered by all those who knew and loved him.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Josephine McCreery of Troy,four children: Michelle and husband Gary Cannon of Moscow Mills, Connie and husband Doug Hutton of Troy, Bonnie and husband Mark Lynn of Winfield and Dorothy and husband Vince Sieber of St. Charles, seven grandchildren, two great-grandchildren,siblings, Pamela and husband Rich Taylor of St. Ann, Bruce and wife Bea McCreery of Canada,half-sister, Heather McCreery of Arizona,nieces, nephews,other relatives and friends.

Frank was preceded in death by his parents.
